I grew up in Florida, majored in the studio arts at ORU, dropped out with only a Mrs. degree, moved all over California, and finally now live in Washington where I miss sunny days and have 3 beautiful children, a loving husband and 2 parakeets...
I also co-sleep and have breastfed all of my children over a year(or two), keep a pretty crunchy profile, ferment things in the kitchen, make (some) of our clothes, shop mostly thrift and resale, and wash my own handmade cloth diapers. I knit and sew when I get the chance, and run, and sing, and all that good stuff.
But more than that-I love life. And I desire to truly grab a hold of everything mine throws my way and embrace it. I want to live the dream and make it mine, while teaching my children to do the same. I want to explore what interests them, what motivates them and what captures their imagination. I want to learn with them- to be better, to be kind, and to be honest to the gifting on my life. I hope you will enjoy the journey with me.
